Lucky you. And, I agree, a 4-yard is the way to go in the heat.

That is so cool! I'm envious. I must wear slacks... it's the rules.
We do have, at my workplace (Disneyland) employees who are issued Utilikilts to wear at work, the people who work at the Brave "Princess Merida meet & greet".
Their costume is strange, having plain canvas Utilikilts but tartan plaids draped around their shoulders.
They could have got tartan kilts (Indian-made) cheaper than the Utilikilts.

Good for you!!! I only hope that the traveling agency doesn't decide in the near future to specialize in Switzerland... otherwise you'll have to come to work in Lederhosen.

Might be if your employer writes into your contract that it's a required uniform.

Bear in mind that before I retired from the Department of Defense and became a travel agent, I wore "normal" business attire every day, so being encouraged to wear a kilt to work is a real change for me.
xdepuydt: Not to worry, they have been specializing in Ireland for 26 years and only recently started doing Scotland. I don't think they'll be doing Switzerland or Siam anytime soon!
I did an internship with them for a few weeks last year and wore a kilt once or twice, but when the owner ran into me in Scotland in April (while I was kilted), she suggested I should come work for them. I agreed to work part time (I am supposed to be retired after all), and just started wearing a kilt. Everyone liked it and so did our clients. Not a bad job where I get to talk Scotland (and Ireland) and wear a kilt besides.
