Hello everyone!
Glad to finally make the plunge and join the forum boards. I've been skulking around here for the past year and a half or so as I've prepared to order my first tartan kilt. While not unfamiliar to the world of kilts (having grown up in the south 'burbs of Chicago all my life), between school and work it took me a while to research and save up so I can take part in my family's Celtic heritage. Currently I am the proud owner and wearer of a Workman's Utilikilt (for several years now) and also just received a few days ago my first tartan kilt from Rocky over at USA Kilts (8 yard - Jones of Wales tartan). I look forward to getting to know you all and make wearing my kilt an honored part of my life, hopefully without making too many newbie mistakes along the way! ^_-
