Hey Riverkilt I did see you walk by, indeed wearing the Campaign Hat!

I'm back in SoCal, drove back this morning. The drive between Vegas and the LA Basin is lovely, with spectacular desert scenery.

So some photos I took yesterday... sorry they were just taken with my 1-pixel I-thing.

Solo piping in the morning. My best shot of the weekend

Yours truly with some piping friends; us gents in Isle of Skye kilts (I'm in the WV cap)

Wasatch & District (Grade 3) wariming up, showing the setting of these Games, with gorgeous mountains all round

Some well-dressed gents getting ready for the march of the clans. The fellow on the right is wearing a fantastic Harris Tweed kilt jacket

Sorry to miss you Richard...remember the lone pipers and one Isle of Skye kilt. Did some serious shopping. LV games were much larger than I'd expected. Someone put in a LOT of hard work to pull that off. Hope to be back next year - a good spirit to the place. Lots of pics, but I'm still on the road...will get them posted up when I get home tomorrow...after the laundry....groan.... Saw some other X Markers there and one vendor selling X Marks the Scot tiles...

I believe this was the biggest year so far! I had intended on getting there early enough for the Clan Procession, but it took 35 minutes to park, walk to the gate and purchase tickets. I just missed them marching. I am already looking forward to next years games and am also considering heading down to Long Beach.

On a personal note, our Clan had a nice turnout and we're planning to have some local gatherings this summer.
