Thank you, all, for the compliments. The kilt is brand new (this was only the second time it had been worn.)
I love the claret hose - I should have picked up an additional pair, as these may see a lot of use. They were the perfect match for the mauve-ish colored shirt I was wearing.
The garters were a new item for me. Tying them was easy, thanks to Matt's Garter How-To video, on the STM web site. I love the gold garters in this pic, and I picked up some really nice bison-colored garters (and hose) at the STM, as well.

Brown leather is something I've been making a conscious effort to add to my kilt wardrobe lately, for daywear use. The black pouch on my hip not withstanding, I still suffer the "matchy-match" mindset though, when it comes to mixing brown and black leather - so much so, that when I was at the STM, I had Ronan order me a light brown Square Leather Renaissance Pouch from Mojoleather, to wear when I "go brown."

Dalgleish + MacGregor for the win! You're looking great, Ken.
I wore the same hose and garters with my Wallace muted last weekend. I hope someone will come forward with a picture, otherwise I'll need to re-enact it.

Excellent looking kilt , hose, and garters. The claret hose have become one of my favorite! Enjoy the new ensemble!

If that doesn't become your go-to kilt, there's something seriously wrong with you. Just beautiful.

Of course that's an excellent kilt that you have there, Ken. Beautiful.
I'm not over keen on the colour of the shirt, but it's your shirt, you're wearing it and the only person that really has to like it is you!

I wasn't overly thrilled with the shirt either, but I was on a vacation trip, so only had with me that which I'd packed, and hadn't really given thought while packing, as to what shirts went with which kilts.
(My non-kilted fashion sense is basically: "Is it clean? Does it fit? Alrighty then!") LOL
