I don't play in the band anymore, though I was one of the founding members and actually ran the band for the year that Kevin spent in Hawai'i (as a scuba instructor- he was a man of diverse talents!) I play uilleann pipes at the band's annual Pipes of Spring concerts. One year somebody recorded one of my bits and put it up on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onGGxt19ksg

More pics! Here is our pipe band from the late 70s/early 80s named The Gordon Greys. Here we had our doublets etc but didn't yet all have our plaids or feather bonnets. As you can see our uniform was more or less based on that of The Gordon Highlanders. Doing a parade at about the same time period our drummers, after we had got our plaids and feather bonnets Yours truly, taken at the same time as the drummers' photo, showing the pipers' uniform By 1986 we had reformed as the RP Blandford & Son Pipe Band. (RP Blandford & Son was the Highland outfitter which sponsored the band.) We got new kit: British Columbia kilts, white socks, black jackets, etc. Note how the women are in female attire, more or less. Here we are playing at the Clan Donald dinner
