Make up for men, in Newcastle? someones done their marketting survey very very wrong. I thought you folk up there were only just getting used to the idea of coats. Whenever I've been there none of the lasses seem to own one even in winter

Pretty is definitely not the look I go for. Though, I suppose if a full beard and mustache is pretty, I count. ;)

Hey marra,

We're tough cookies up here in Geordie Land and we'll tak none of yer mamby pamby southern banter, bonny lad. So 'ad yer gob a leave us be. I'm gannin doon the pub for a broon an' a brawl.

Incidentally, part of the joys of a back shift disorder patrol is seein the lasses oot and aboot with nowt on. Even when is cald.

Seriously though what are the market researchers thinking, did they look at the average geordie bloke and say 'I know what they need a complete make over'.
Having said that I went to a Scouser wedding at the weekend, the bride looked lovely in a white shell suit and perm.....

I just had a vision of Robert Deniro and Billy Chrystal singing "I Feel Pretty" from Analyse That. Then imagine them in kilts. Definitly not a pretty site
