I usually wear vibram toe shoes, tucked in shirt and one of my sporrans. My sons have different styles.

Nice shoes in that last photo grizzbass! I wear my Vibrams quite a lot when it's really warm because it's comfortable, but I prefer the look of boots. I've got Docs and Corcoran jump boots that I shine up and wear if I'm being fancy, otherwise it's my trusty old hiking boots with scrunchy, bunchy socks. I think any shirt can look great - long sleeve, short sleeve, polo, whatever - but IMO tucked in looks better, odd for me because I hate tucking in my shirts and never do otherwise. I have underapron pockets on almost all my kilts, so there's always somewhere to put my phone and wallet if I don't have cargo pockets.

Braided hair, tattoo, fancy kilt. I envy you, ratspike. Underapron pockets? That sounds like Special Fabric Sport Kilts or Trinity Business Kilts or Utilikilt Mokers.

thanks my favorite reaction to vibrams and kilt wearing was a hike in yellowstone. We passed a group of people who had been fishing up the trail. We stopped and talked for several minutes when the two women in the group caught up. One looked at me and kind of shrieked "oh I love those shoes. Come here Joan and look at those shoes." The men kind of laughed and one said. "I guess that defines men and women". "We're all here thinking the guy is wearing a kilt and she sees is the shoes"
