    So ok, I think what I'll do for now is sell the big piece of Maclean tartan plus a few other old bits 'n' bobs, keep the Macpherson for formal occasions, keep the Mackenzie for walking the dog, and start saving. Could take a while!

    I'd maybe sell the Mackenzie, but how much would I get for it?

    Yep, pleated to the double white line, the same fashion as my kilts in Lochcarron's Macpherson red modern and red ancient colour schemes (both Strome). I also like the two kilt straps and buckles - my kilts are made in the same fashion - the third strap is superfluous in my opinion. A smart looking kilt, worth keeping for sure!
