My new tartan in the area that inspired it.
Those that have seen some of my other posts are familiar with my new "Leaf Peeper" tartan. Inspired by the White Mountains of New Hampshire in October, I've started the week with a couple of kilted shots wearing that kilt. My priority today was Mt. Washington, where above the alpine there's no chance of color. But over the next few days I hope to give this, along with a couple other kilts, a good showing in some of the lovelier spots in the area (provided I can find someone there to take the pictures.) LOL
Though the weather looked promising at the base, by the time I got to the summit the clouds moved in and visibility was quite limited.

On the way back down (elev. approx. 5000') the clouds started to lift.

And then there's this one, back in North Conway.

In addition to the Leaf Peeper, I also brought my Buchanan Hunting, and my Buchanan Reproduction. I hope to have some other decent shots as the week progresses.
