Very nice... Fitting too in respect to the way jacobites had to hide their art...

Thank you all for your very kind comments. There will of course be pictures of it being worn in due course.
Special thanks to Andy (RSVPiper) for the inspiration, to PH for his creative talents and to Glenfinnan for being such an evocative place.

Congratulations! This is absolutely stunning and wonderfully appropriate. So much so that it rather begs the question: why has this never been done before?

Glenfinnan is a magical place for me. I was married there in 1979 and my daughter was conceived there. I live in Skye these days and I shall be driving through this afternoon on the way home. Being there is always a powerful experience. Today when I pass the monument, I'll be dreaming of my own Paul Henry Special. Thanks.

    Wear it well.

Paul Henry is without doubt a very talented Kilt maker and also a very personable chap. I have met him on a couple of occasions and I like him a lot.

I also have enjoyed his thoughtful and informative contributions here, I wonder what it was that got his membership revoked.

Simon. Nice one!! I look forward to seeing it when next we get together.

Humm... an after thought... I wonder, might you be tempted to wear this beauty inside out? Could start a trend.
