Yes, Gemma Jones has been in LOTS of movies, TV series, etc. I can only speculate that perhaps Ms. Jones is not a movie person.

Or maybe she watched Bridget Jones' Diary back in 2001 and just couldn't be bothered to bing her name all the time for other films.

Possibly, but she would only have to bing it once on IMDB to find out all the shows in which Gemma Jones played a part. But, then again, she may not know about IMDB. Speculation sure is fun.

I'm pretty sure that many people have no idea what IMDB is. I'd guess, that my parents are in that group.
