Celtic knotwork in the cross would be nice.

I think it's good from the point of this site's identity, but personally - I throw my vote in for celtic knotwork also.
I recently wrote to Scottishkilts to say how pleased I was with the service from them and gave them a like to this site. They plan to create a link on their site to here.
BTW, how did you do that design hank? it's nicely done.

I've been trying to come up with ideas for a design. I have taken a picture of one and put it in my personal photo gallery. What do you guys think of it?

i like the knotwork on that design

Alaskan,
Did you draw that free hand? Regardless, I am impressed with your creativity, along with the others that I have seen. Truly kilt wearers are amazing!

Yes, Glen, I just sketched out a few different designs. One of them was the standard clan crest and sword design with an X in the center and "garments not costumes" for the clan slogan. The one I put the picture up of was just the best one I have made so far. I think it would be a bit nicer if I looked at some pictures of celtic knot jewelry while I drew it. Also, I would like to come up with a better design for the X. I think the concept is good, though.

I had not given any idea to the clan slogan idea but I do like it. I really think the design should be simple, solid, with knotwork, sturdy and within reason for budget concerns (making and purchasing). It will show the world who we are, and what we stand for.
