Thanks to Hector for his anecdotes and review, with which I identify well. I was walking downtown kilted because my wife and I were celebrating. In this non kilted, Western environment I was sticking out somewhat and I was beginning to feel it. I, too, have been kilting only about a year. So I got my mind into gear and reviewed the story of why I came to be like this at this time in my life. Just then a Middle Eastern man holding the hand of a veiled and robed woman overtook us. Then I felt justified some more. No offence to the people of Shem.
Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?—1 Corinthians 1:20
