    Just a brief point of reference...I work for one of the largest global fashion companies which shall remain nameless for now. My experience with designers ranges from footwear to apparel. To sum it up just s few words is "They Are All Nuts". Most of them dress like circus clowns and to be honest act like them as well (no offense to circus clowns). They have these grandiose ideas of what people should wear but the reality is it takes teams of really talented people to take their warped visions and make them into to clothes you see and buy in the stores. Unfortunately I don't think that tartan is going to look good no matter who puts it on.
