Actually there was / is? a particular individual on another board who stears clear of this forum. To my knowledge, there are no boneheads posting here because our "Kilted Proctor" Hank won't put up with that sort of garbage... thankfully!

I must claim responsibity in part for the change of names.
As I was coming close to being a "kilted master" I mentioned to Hank that I was not comfortable with the terms "master" or "grand master" for myself based on admonitions by Jesus not to call "anyone on earth you master..." and also because of the Freemasonry connotations.
A small matter to some perhaps, but Hank was a real gentleman over the matter and made changes accordingly.
His choices were his own but I am happy with them and I hope others will be too.

I am sure glad of the gentrification of this forum, it was a noble gesture of Hank. Reminds me of what happens to neighborhoods when things are improved. And as kilted gentlemen that we are, we definetly are improving our neighborhoods one kilt at a time.

Only 400+ posts to go before I join your ranks. It's good to have goals in life. Perhaps I'll even rise to the rank of Kilted Grand Poobah if such a title is ever granted.

Graham,
Thanks for the suggestions.
Hank,
Thanks too,I think that they better reflect the membership, as the forum has evolved.

I guess you're right Casey, they have a "medieval" feel about them don't they!

Graham,
I know that I am old, but medieval?
Actually I always thought that I was born at least 100 years too late.
Maybe, it may be more.

Graham,
Would you be so kind as to explain what you mean by "because of the Freemasonry connotations"?

Not really Doc, sorry, that would lead us down a path of controversy that is not appropriate on this forum.
My honest comment was simply an explanation as to why hank chose to change the titles. It was an illustration of the respect I have for Hank.
