Tim,
I want to also welcome you to the forum, as you can already tell by this thread it gets crazy at times, but it is a good bunch of lads and lucky for us some lasses.
Do not feel afraid to post, ask questions talk or whatever, and do not be afraid of Graham's green tights. They are harmless, and only Graham wears them.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. Can't say I am new to kilting, have been kilting for almost 1 year now, on average 2-3 times a week. I currently have a couple UKs and a Sport Kilt and will be ordering my first Bear this next week (forwarning to ya Bear!). I also have a 13 year old son who has a UK and AK and wears his at least 2 times a week to school and then to any special occasion. Like his 8th grade graduation coming up mid-June. We'll both probably be kilted most of this 3 day weekend.
I've posted on the Braveheart forum a few times over the last year, but not much of a chatter (online that is), I just tend to scan through forums and post when something piques my interest. Though you'll probably hear from me more often, XMS seems a bit busier than the Braveheart board.
Cheers to all and to Memorial day for my fellow Americans and to any non-US who have lost comrades and family in war. Remember those who've fallen fighting for your freedoms.

I appreciate your sentiments regarding Memorial Day Tim. I cannot tell you my appreciation to those who sacrifice for what they believe.
Glad you gave a rundown of your kilting, so you do know of their addictive nature.
Again thank you for your sentiments.

Just wondered roughly what part of the world you call home?
Also wondered what kind of reaction your son gets at school to kilted attire.
Bravehearts.com tends to run hot and cold. This site however, see lots of chatter. It's been a real boost for those of us no longer "comfortable" with the topics being discussed these days at Tom's Cafe'.

Hello Tim -
Sorry this is late - I've been spreading the kilt culture down in Nothern California the past few days.
If I read your post in one of the other threads correctly, you live in the Seattle part of the world.
Welcome to the forum. As Kilted John said, we are both in your general area.
