Well done, Thomas. This paying it forward concept works on lots of levels. Not least of which is the fact that in seeing that you appreciate the gift so highly, has me smiling from ear to ear and feeling somehow, enriched by your pleasure in the gift.

It's nice to see the set kept together and I like the fact that you will be able to easily change tassels to suit you whim. Frankly though, I think I like the look of your Lorax best without any tassels at all. I love the way the goat hair looks at the bottom. Very like the old hallowed MacLeay paintings.

    Finally, "Lorax" - great name.

Delighted to have been of service to you, Thomas.

That's a beauty! I also like it best without tassels.

Thomas , that is superb ! You certainly have a good eye and a lot of talent . Love the goat hair and thanks for posting the link to the birth of this sporran . It is definitely reminiscent of the old MacLeay paintings and I share in your appreciation of this look .

I can see that you were very attentive to details with the hair ... somewhat of a slight blonde center with silver ( white/gray ) flankings , very nice .

My favorite of your pics is without tassels . I know we see hair sporrans with and without tassels in the old paintings and I do like and appreciate both looks . However , when it comes to goat hair .... I love seeing the hair being to the fore .

Well done , well done indeed !!

    Cheers , Mike
