Rufus,
I think that the "EEK" in the middle of the picture proves that I am a little too camera freindly, but I'm working on it.
Come on up. We'll throw a big ol' party and make it last for a few days.

Count me in for Vancouver next summer. Actually I plan to be there in August or Sept.. And that kilt night looks too good to pass up.

Okay, let's do it right.
I'll get some dates to work around and we'll get as many guys up here as we can muster.
If we get enough guys, I'll do things on a big scale and make the whole city stand up and take notice.
Kilt fashion shows, gala receptions, etc.

That sounds great, Bear. I'll need plenty of notice to get flights, accommodation, etc. sorted out and booked. I'll also need to try to get my visits to Florida and California dovetailed in - if they still want me to visit, that is!

I'm all for it! As long as it doesnt coincide with a weekend that I have to work a Celtic or Scottish festival then I am there (I hope...)
August is usually a good month, but it would have to be next August,

Ham,
I'm planning ahead for summer 2005. Is your Florida/California visit in 2004 or 2005?
Your post sounded like you thought it was going to be this summer. I don't think I could get a project of that size done the way I want to do it in that time frame.

If this works out and a few of you guys do end up coming to BC for a visit, I will offer my services on helping to book accomadations , etc. Let me know once things are more sorted out. I know of a B&B in one of the suburbs that is in a heritage house, and goes for under $75 canadian a night.
Hank, August is a good month here. We have our local games at the end of June every year, and Vancouver has Celticfest every year in March, but August needs a big event.
