    The more important question is, are you happy with the jacket/waistcoat and the price you paid for them? If so, does the label matter?

    True dat. If it looks good and feels good I certainly wouldn't care if it was from Scotland, Pakistan or Santa's Workshop.

    Hi Erik,

    From the photos, your jacket looks perfectly good to me. We may never know where the cloth was woven, or where the jacket was actually made, but it looks to be of good quality and the ebay seller was almost certainly telling the truth. As many have said, jackets with no labels are very common in Scotland. My tweed jacket is undoubtedly made in Scotland, is over 25 years old, yet has no label.

    If it fits you, I'd be very happy with it and have no worries, so enjoy it!
