I would totally meet you there. And, lucky for them they are not in the States, because they would be boycotted, protested, and likely hacked. I would love to hear from the our fellow Xmarkers from the Czech on this matter. And by the way, I thought I read this correctly-"Traditionally, Scots men do not wear anything under their kilts." I guess the cat is out of the bag.

"Mr Zahalka not only turned up with a skirt and without proper footwear, and not only was he dressed in a skirt but it was without underwear.

I wonder how they determined what he had on under his kilt?

I suspect that's what the real problem was--someone caught an eyeful and complained.

    Choices.....
    A. Boycott the games ( this includes the kilted athletes...)
    B. Make a speech or public statement to the press (one of the athletes, kilted preferable)
    C. The commonwealth games should send a letter to the head of the country in protest.
    D. Do nothing.......Kilt On.
This is a disgrace, especially since the games are being hosted locally.....

Sorry Hawk but I can't agree with your suggestion to boycott the Commonwealth Games.
The alleged incident occurred in the Czech Republic which is not a Commonwealth country and has absolutely nothing to do with the Commonwealth Games.
The games are being hosted in Glasgow which is a thousand miles away from Pardubice so can hardly be considered as "locally".
I wouldn't expect anyone to have any problems with wearing a kilt in one of Glasgow's shopping malls.
