An Appeal to My Generation

Perhaps Starz new series, Outlander which airs tonight will have a similar effect of creating an interest in all things Scottish that the movie Braveheart did twenty years ago. Fingers crossed!

I really think that could happen.

Our family took a trip to Scotland a few years before the Braveheart movie.
The trip was nice and our little boys loved the ancient castles (because of Dungeons and Dragons). But at that time I wasn't aware or appreciative of our Scottish ancestry or heritage.

Then after watching Braveheart, I suddenly woke up to our Scottish connection and became passionately interested.

So....... maybe.... Outlander might awaken the younger generation.
I really hope so.....
