This One is named Pluggie so I guess he could run.
His name comes from the fact that they used to be called fire plugs. This is because water mains were hollowed out logs and holes were chopped in them with an axe when water was needed for a fire then plugged after wards and firemen of old would remember where the plugs were to avoid making more holes.
In this opinion, the displayed and many other fire hydrants would make admirable mayors.

- Strong, upstanding, visible
