    I guess someone has to suggest it, have you tried the likes of Marks and Sparks? I have a 2" leather belt from them that I bought some (20?) years ago, two strips of leather, the outer layer coloured and the liner layer a pale tan, stitched together with a plain single hasp buckle. I used to wear it pretty much every day and the leather is still as good as the day I got it, though I have had to restitch it round the tongue a couple of times - the thread had perished, not the leather. Mine is black but I recall they had two or three shades of brown and grey to choose from.

    Of course, time passes, as do product lines!
