Graham, no pictures yet, work as really picked up since the 4th of July and I've been run fairly ragged. I am going on vacation starting the 14th and I am taking my kilts so I hope to have a bunch of photos to post when I get back.
A few more thoughts on the victory kilt. I wore it to work four out of five days this last week(the fifth I wore trousers, and boy did it suck!!!) and I averaged four compliments from customers a day(not bad considering I'm behind the grill), the navy blue gets better with each wash and the sway of the pleats is pretty good.
Ironing the pleats was tricky at first since it is to big for an ironing board. I took an old comforter and placed that on the floor and ironed the kilt on it. The pleats look damn sharp after ironing and they held up well.
Wearing the kilt at work was great, it felt a good 20 degrees cooler behind the grill. At the end of the day I didn't feel as wiped out from the heat. Had a few minor spills of various stuff that wiped off with a damp rag.

    Rob,

Thanks for the wear & tear update. My Carhardt has about 80 hours on it and it's due for its first washing. Who'd have thought a middle-aged, grey haired man would look at a mundane activity like washing clothes as a momentous occasion. Can't wait to see a picture of your blue!

    Sean
