(For quite a while now I've been interested in aquiring a shepherd's maud. After a lot of hard work and saving I finally managed to aquire enough money to buy one. Now, here's the thing - you can't just go and buy one of these nowadays - you have to source one from Ebay or get one weaved on request because they aren't made anymore. I was lucky enough to source one from Matt at New Highland who'd got a few from D.C. Dalgleish in Selkirk (Scotland). To show you how rare these are I had to send to America for something that was made in my own country!
Anyway, to cut a long story short - here are photos of my beloved shepherd's maud and a couple of myself with my scottish shepherd's crook (cromach) wearing the beautiful garment itself. Bless you and your families brothers)
