Yes, those are the ones I like too, but I'd like to have just a weenty wee bit of background around the eges; feels chopped off to me in the corners.

Cropped on grey for me. The white is just shadowy enough that it doesn't look right to me, especially on a white background, but I agree with Father Bill that maybe just a little more grey would be a good thing to help frame the sporran better.

Rocky,
Guess I like following the crowd here. Option 2 is easier for me to see. Really thought I would pick the white background. Now I want to buy another sporran! By the way, the new webdesign for the sight is great.
Have a good week.

Zoomed in Gray. Shows better contrast of the details, looks more balanced. Gives better idea of how it could look against a kilt.

I went for option three. Why?
With my rather tired and fairly decrepit eyes, option three suited me perfectly.

As soon as Father Bill mentioned the chopped off feeling, I had an 'Aha!' moment.
I knew that I preferred the grey background, but didn't really like the finished result - I'm not keen on the tight cropping.
Perhaps crop ⅔ away, leaving enough space for the item to 'breathe'.

Number 1 is most "artistic". Number 2 and 3 show the information better. For my eyes the white background shows the information, the sporran, best. So number 3 for me.

I vote definitely for the "As is".
If I am buying something over the internet I want to see what I am actually going to receive and not a distorted image of it.

Not quite sure what you mean by 'distorted image'. Could you elaborate? The cropped image isnt distorted, but the same image with the image cut much closer to the edges.
