Blu, this band had no didgeridoo, but you may be surprised at how often I hear one included in celtic bands, even Irish bands.

good for you bro, it never gets old does it?
I must admit to still being a bit on edge, well, ready to be defensive, at times while I'm kilted.

One situation also made me feel on edge was a workshop I frequent, a Caterpillar centre here in Somerset. It's about as "blokey" (redneck) as you can get. I've worked there before in a kilt but it's not easy.
Today I thought - stuffit - I'm going kilted.
One one the managers chased me to lift the kilt, but all in good fun.
One of the mechanics kept looking at me, then came over and told me his parents were from Aberdeen.
I walked past another mechanic struggling to climb into a pair of overalls, I joked that trousers were awful bloomin things to get into, I felt sorry for him.
The secret is being outgoing and making it fun. I initiate converstaion, jokes and remarks more than I ever did before. Get in first I say!!

It's catching isn't it!!
You'll be hearing from me soon, any day now my plain green kilt should arrive. Quite exciting, it's just like being a kid again on the night before your birthday!

Graham,
What do you mean being a kid again? I'm still 16, but my body tells me to stop lying
Can't wait for the scream when that green Victory Kilt arrives.

No Bubba, everyone in the post office here is on the lookout for a parcel from America, they don't even need to ask what it is anymore.
I thought I was older than you Glen, I'm 17.
