Not a typical kilt
I was asked to make a hostess skirt, but built like a kilt. Small knife pleats, stabilizer, interfacing, the works. She wanted something with lots of blue, so we settled on the Antarctic tartan. Thankfully, I was able to get it in 11 oz.
The biggest challenge for me was simply dealing with all that fabric. It is twice the length of a typical kilt. And it weighs in at just over 4 pounds. But I am very happy with the finished product.
