Here's the US Army kilt Alexis made for me in 2005. Alexis is a pleasant and knowledgeable person to deal with and her workmanship is terrific.

Nice to see that folks also coordinate their dog leads to their kilt!

    That is a nice tartan!

A WONDERFUL lady, Alexis Malcolm. She's actually the one that (along with Strathmore woolen co) designed and owns the US Army Tartan. She gave me permission to weave it in PV and was a PLEASURE to deal with over the phone, even though she didn't know me from "Adam".

I can't speak to her quality (although I'm sure it's good) since I've never seen it first hand, but she is a pleasure to speak to.

I ordered an Amry Tartan kilt from Alexis last spring for my Son-in-law to wear at his wedding to my Daughter. Alexis was an absolute pleasure to talk to on the phone. Within seconds I felt totally at ease with her, she took an interest not only in the order I was placing but asked about my own kilting experiences and some of the projects she was working on. She met deadlines exactly on time even though she was working on a very big order for a pipe band. The kilt is first rate. I'd have no qualms about ordering from her again.

I have two kilts from Alexis: a lightweight in the MacIan tartan, and a heavyweight in the US Army tartan. Both are outstanding kilts of great quality. Alexis is very easy to work with and very responsive to questions.

I have a USMC tartan Hillwalker kilt from Alexis and love it. The fit is outstanding, and the workmanship is of the finest caliber. I highly recommend her kilts. I bit of a side note and possibly an idea of the quality of the Alexis Malcolm kilts, when I ordered my kilt she was very busy making kilts for the Coast Guard pipe band. She is also wonderful to work with.

Andy, it's amazing how you've trained your dogs to compose and take such a fine picture!
