    Thank you! Makes perfect sense....I thought about doing it that way but didn't know if it would work or not. What kind of contact cement did you use? I am always scouring garage sales and local thrift stores for fur. I actually found an old mink coat at a garage sale for $50 that I couldn't refuse. I also have a fox stole that I found as well, plus a few different colored rabbit pelts. I am almost done with a regular leather sporran for a band mate that I started yesterday. Great job once again.

    Cheers for the kind words! Yes, I'm thrifty with my sourcing as well. I use DAP Weldwood contact cement, which really bonds securely and quickly.

    I look forward to seeing your sporran project as well.
