The members of XMarks refer to ourselves as "The Rabble" thus, the "Great" Rabble!

That is what we thought! My husband likes the tartan utility kilt I got him, but he sometimes feels self conscious in it.

He figured this fabric is less conspicuous and thinks it will be a better match with his personality.
I personally think that the fabric is so much nicer compared to the coarse acrylic, it will make a kilt that moves much better and therefore will provide more modesty. Please tell me if I am assuming wrong?

Oh, didn't know that. Does that make me a Rabbler or a Rabblester?

Well, certainly not "rubble"!

Comfort is a major factor in wearing a kilt. Not all of us are "Peacocks" and some prefer a kilt with muted patterns and colors. I can't speak for the fabric unless I could feel it. I will take your word that the new material is softer (again comfort being a huge factor). I think your man will be grateful. I would.

My wife says that due to your gender you could be a "Rabblette". I refer to all our kilted members as Rabble. The kilt has become international via XMarks, thus one name for the masses.

A center box pleat with knife pleats fanning out from the center is called a Kingussie pleated kilt if I recall correctly, so it looks like you just made a reverse-Kingussie kilt of sorts, Well done!
