    Having been a Navy civilian employee, I can tell you of a fellow Navy employee who wore the same camo-kilt to work everyday without issue. He was however at NAS Key West so things may have been more lax down there. I never went to work kilted, but only because in my position, it seemed inappropriate.

    Here in Canada the most that would ever be said at any level of government office outside of uniformed groups would likely be "Nice kilt; what tartan is it? Special occasion?"

    I work at Stanford University, in the Center for Molecular and Genetic Medicine, which is part of the Medical School. I wear a kilt to work anywhere from 1-4 days a week.

    Social studies... small, rural school in Western Wisconsin (app. 160 students grades 9-12). I am wearing a kilt at the moment and do once a week.
