As an exclusive Utilikilts wearer (soon to change though), I'm all for kilted comraderie.
Let's remember though that a man being kilted in public is still an unusual thing and there's no telling what experience the young fellow may have had just minutes prior that might have colored his perception of Gman's greeting.
In all fairness, we on this list also talk about carrying oneself with a bit of attitude.
It can be a rough world out there sometimes so lets cut each other a bit of slack.
