Most of us have been known to order another kilt because we can't stand the wait for the one we ordered last month.
Blimey! Do I know what you mean I've been on the verge of this so many times in the past weeks
Here's hoping...David

Well after placing an order for a kilt I open a brand new bottle of whisky. Drink whisky pretending not be counting the days until new kilt arrives.
Bottle of whisky empty, open new bottle wondering why kiltmaker is intentionally working as slow as possible on yourkilt.
FOur bottles of whisky later new kilt arrives and in celabration you open a new bottle of whisky to toast the new kilt.

Rob, try to look at it as a gift. The kiltmaker only has your best interests at heart in wanting you to enjoy as much good single malt as humanly possible. For me it's Guinness, but hey we all have our preferences. After all, we have to keep those busineses healthy and solvent as well, don't we?
So if waiting a little longer for my kilt means I have to drink more Guinness then dang-nabbit, I'm willing to give it my all. You know, for the good of the economy.

With three kilts now, waiting for a new one to arrive is tolerable, though I found that when I order in the dead of winter when the wind is howling and the snow and ice are thick upon the land that most of my thoughts are along the lines of sitting next to the fire sipping a hot toddie and enjoying a good book.
