So how was your first time venturing out in a kilt? Did everything go the way you thought it would?

Went very well. Got a compliment, and a lot of stares from children

Yeah, my take on Jock's comment was to add to your wardrobe so that you can turn the volume down from 11 when you need or want to. I'm very partial to jewel tones and earth tones, rich colors but not necessarily loud or bright. Tattersall shirts are a fabulous suggestion as well.

Commiseration on the missing shirts. I hadn't been married a month when my wonderfully comfortable green shirt with the ducks on it went missing. I have no idea what happened to it.
