The thing is done!

Here it is, flanked by my Margaret Morrison sporrans:



For years I wore that cantle on a goat-hair body.

Here it is, the goat-hair body and the new seal body. It's easy to shift the cantle between them.

I finally got a chance to wear it. I really like how it looks with an outfit.

The colour of the tassels matches the colour of the cords better when worn than it looked when I was assembling things.

The scrap of leather I cut the tassels from was lighter and more yellow than the cords.

I had two choices, either paint the cords to match the tassels, or paint the tassels to match the cords. I chose the latter as it seemed to yield better results when I did tests of both approaches.
