    I finally got a chance to wear it. I really like how it looks with an outfit.

    The colour of the tassels matches the colour of the cords better when worn than it looked when I was assembling things.

    The scrap of leather I cut the tassels from was lighter and more yellow than the cords.

    I had two choices, either paint the cords to match the tassels, or paint the tassels to match the cords. I chose the latter as it seemed to yield better results when I did tests of both approaches.
