Well I guess I'll finally post a few pics of my project. Some of the pics are old but here it is:
Some of the lighting I've done, All green LED:

The white gauges that I replaced the black ones with and painted the gray bezel black:
done: I've also replaced the sealed beam headlight with diamond cut glass composites, Sho-me headlight/taillight wigwag flashers, sho-me red mini LED light bar on roof, Fire dept cb radio inside, CD player, all factory speakers replaced, fiberglassed sub enclosure disguised as factory spare tire in back, blue LED dash lights, amber LED front blinkers, Red LED tail lights, sure pull trailer hitch, 100 watt back up lights hidden under the truck among with the factory ones in the tails, Grant steering wheel
Still to be done: Smoothing and painting some interior pieces, gonna fiberglass the dash out of my s-10 drag truck and put it in there next summer, Clear corner lens, redo the seats and cloth in camo canvas. I'm looking for a 2 inch body lift and some rims. My buddy gave me a spare tire carrier that goes on the tailgate so that'll be added when I get time.

Reason: You'd think with a rag right there I would wipe the dirt off the bezel for a picture, lol

And it's FINALLY gotten warm enough (and dry enough) long enough to get her out on the road a few times!

Been waiting for an opportunity to post to this thread. While on vacation in Gatlinburg my wife got a new job offer. We had been talking about buying a convertible since last year when I rented one for her birthday. We decided when she got the job that we'd go ahead and do it. We saw one of these near our home a while back and fell in love with it and fortunately my sister-in-law spotted the exact same car at a lot in Hickory, NC. We stopped off on the way back from vacation and bought it! With the kids nearly grown we aren't really "van people" anymore so our second childhood has officially begun! This is a 2005 PT Cruiser in "Cool Vanilla."
Taken at Reynolda Village

Me after a surprise 50th birthday bash for my old roommate. The car technically belongs to the wife but......dude it just reminds me of an old Fender Strat with that color!

I'll have to find my camera. My favorites are a Ford Excursion, a Toyota Celica, and a Honda NightHawk 250. Though, I don't do much driving in the 10 cyclinder Excursion anymore - it costs me more than 100 dollars to fill the tank. When I get my Kilt(s) in I'll see if I can't share a picture of them with my ride(s).
