I host a syndicated Classic Rock radio show in three cities, in three states. Not quite like the big boys, but I also have half the headaches too. I also write, produce and record radio advertising, Long and short format audio presentations, and voice over audio books. along with voice over work for a couple of PBS Series. Jay, You might try my neck of the woods. The Lewiston-Clarkston area is home to the biggest and most well known jet boat builders in the world. Even with the price of gas, around here you still see the river full of them every day.

Thanks for the tip. However, my wife has a very good job as the operations manager for a big company here in Albany so leaving the area is pretty much out of the question.

I am a contracts manager for an aerospace company here in KC. Mostly I handle military customers, some commercial. In my "spare" time I am a church librarian & musician, and if there's any time left I try to keep Mark in line. I don't have much luck with that.

Since this thread is back in circulation, I thought I'd update my status. The first few months after we moved I was a "gentleman of leisure", now I'm driving a semi-trailer doing local deliveries.

I'm currently the only kilted bar bouncer I know of. At least 'round these parts.

An update for me. I recently went from Active Infantry officer to retired and hanging out on my front porch! Kilted of course!
