I pass gas (anesthesiologist) at the Tucson VA. I have been in AZ since leaving the USAF in Oct., and still am experiencing climate shock.

I've been working at an Engineer's office for 2 years. I started college but didn't really like college/work (who would.) Leaving for the USAF to be a ground mechanic after my wedding in Nov. and hope to retire there. My wife to be is in culinary school.
I hope to go reserve after my first term of service and get a degree in something (not sure what yet,) and go to OCS.
Kind of a military brat so it's the logical path for me.

I'm a new member. Though I am not in the military, I am noticing many individuals are currently active duty, retired, or closely aligned with the military. So, that said, I just want to thank you all of you for what you do, all you citizen Soldiers, Sailors, Marine and Airman, in all free countries!

I've been a freelance writer for the auto industry (training and such for dealership personnel) for the past 14 years. Prior to that, I did pretty much the same thing as a full-time employee of various corporations. The kilted one, Bob, runs the SD operations of an LA-based wholesale scrap metal buyer. The chestful of ribbons on his kilt jacket at formal clan dinners is a legacy of that "senior trip to SE Asia" (combat medic).

I write computer software that helps Engineers install the software which allows them to model things in a virtual space rather than generating physical/destructive models.
More generally speaking, if my software doesn't allow them to click "next , next , next, ..." , I have failed miserably.
It's really fulfilling to be the most ignored piece of software a company writes until it doesn't intuitively succeed for every goddamn unreasonable customer
I hope to one day retire and take pictures with my future wife. Now that would be fulfilling...
