OK OK, I'll mention something too . Well for starters, my fulltime place of employment (if you want to call it that) is, Humana here in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm not an insurance agent or work with claims. Our department oversees the operations of the buildings. We do the "behind the scene" things.
I'm also a part time Fireighter. I have been a Firefighter for almost 19 years now. I'm the Officer of a 5-man Engine Company. Me in charge, now that's scary . No really, I have a great crew and, I'm proud to be their crew leader. I cannot ask for a better crew.

I am a CSTech for the Texas OAG going on 20 years. Also owner of a small online shop, link below.
My roomie Barb (BarbaraTX) is a hypnotist, ordained minister & psychic. (she has stories too, CelticGypsy). She (and me by her side) worked on the Amber Haggerman case (ie Amber Alert system) in Arlington several years ago. We were close to where they finally found her body, but had to give up because it started raining. Had we been able to continue we would have found her sooner. Not that there would have been any better outcome, you understand.

I am a pediatric radiologist---that is I perform and interpret imaging studies on infants, children and teens. Imaging studies like plain x-rays you might get if you twist your ankle, to fluoroscopic studies (barium enema), to ultrasound, CAT scans, MR scans, nuclear medicine scans (we make you glow), and interventional procedures like angiograms, biopsies, and drainages of abnormal fluid collections. I was a pediatrician before I switched over into radiology, which is why I specialize in children now. Been at this for nearly 18 years now.
My particular area of expertise is child abuse, and I have spent many days over the years reviewing the fims and scans of abused children with the courts and prosecutors. I also specialize in imaging childhood cancers. I know that those two topics will probably turn a few folks off, but it is something I have trained hard to become good at, because I have some natural ability combined with the sense of altruism that no child deserves his/her disease or disability. I do it because, if I didn't, who would? I would be the happiest man alive if I were to be put out of business by universal perfect childhood health, but until then I will continue doing what I do.
I am currently in Phoenix but will most likely be moving my practice to Louisville, Kentucky, in the next couple months, where I will be assuming a more senior managerial position as well as continuing my practice, as well as teaching others my trade. In the final stages of contract negotiations but things are looking good. Please keep all fingers appropriately crossed. Will keep you posted.

Oh I have to take the cake with this one. I am a cook at KFC.
I am a Senior in High School so that is an awesome job But am always happy for something better and with actual people, so I am applying for busing or waitering jobs else where. All-in-all though I plan on becoming a grade A massage therapist.

It is interesting to see the lives of the people who post here played out like this. As I was reading through these I found myself smiling and thinking "that makes sense" as I put career together with posts I have read. Good stuff this thread.

Was in the Navy in the mid to late 80's in the SCP (Sea College Program). Got out and went to school and got my Master's in Geology. Worked in the field in Scotland for two years.
Came back to the States and couldn't find a job in the field - fell into IT work. I am now the Director of Operations (servers, Exchange, antivirus, VMWare, Citrix, DR, SAN/data dedupe) for a national security company.
On the side I teach spinning (drop spindle and spinning wheel) at my local yarn shop. I am an assistant instructor in Kenjutsu and Iaido at a local dojo (no monetary compensation - but none is needed).
Regards,
Moon
