I'm getting more excited about this project by the minute, though I must admit that I agree with all of the below:

So yes, I think Droid said it as well or better than I could have.

Scott, you're doing a yeoman's job here- Absolutely top drawer!

...and Jim, I think the madness inherent in such knowledge is rampant in this thread.

I have written to Lady Chrystel to find out the amount of material to get for a Fly Platte as well, so then I will add that amount to the order and round up to get the total for myself. This could move it to the 8yrd mark (6.75 original order and 1.25 add-on).

Lady Chrystel suggests that I have ALL 8yrds sent to her directly and then she will send on any extra yrds on to me after the kilt is made. So, please put me down for 8yrds and send the whole shipment on 8yrds to Lady Chrystel.

    Wolfhawk:
I've updated the yardage. Where it's sent will be determined by you/Dalgliesh at the time of completion, at which point they'll be able to give you a cost of posting it to France.

Looks like several of us will be going to Lady Chrystel. Maybe we can all get together to make it easier.

If it will help in cost and all, I am willing.

Artificer, could I trouble you to increase my yardage to a total of 6.5dw please?
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; for those who don't, none is possible.

If it helps artificer and Lady Chrystel I'll help coordinate those going to her.

    As the order stands now:

    Me - 3
    Drac - 11
    EldarKinSlayer - 4
    Jordan - 4**
    Dale Seago - 9
    Llwyd - 2
    Calico - 4
    Danwell - 6.5
    kc8ufv - 5
    g koch - 4
    Hocfutue - 3
    Kiltboy - 5
    jason10mm - 8
    Heartbeat2k9 - 4
    CDNSushi - 3
    Stilleto Rebel - 4
    Herminator - 3
    rmckay - 3
    NorCalPiper - 2.5
    Poohspot18 - 3.5
    Bonnetmaker - 3
    Michael Flemming - 10
    Geoff Withnell - 4
    Ryan Ross 3
    Droid - 5
    BruceK - 5
    Wolfhawk - 8
    TurboKittie - 3

    131 yds.

Drac, if you want to head up that department and collate a list of everything going to Lady Chrystel, that would be great. I'll be glad to include it with the "group purchaser and yardage" list.

Despite the rather good amount of yardage, I'm sure it will be cheaper to do in one package than to send ~5 separate postings. How you lot decide to break the cost of postage, I'll leave to those involved.
