The Flight of the Saltire

It was with heavy hearts that Catherine and I bid a fond farewell to the Saltire. It was a honour having the wee Airship the un-official mascot of the forum with us for our wedding and all the adventures since. So this afternoon we took it back down to the waterfront where we waved farewell, until we meet again. The crew would not tell us where the Saltire was off to, we watched as she rounded the CN Tower and flew out of site.

Seeing as the Saltire was very fond of my purse because of all the interesting things I carry in it (everything but the kitchen sink) I happened to know that it was heading off to....

The Wee Airship is currently moored to the flagpole atop The Parlement Building here in Victoria, BC.

The Crew is on R&R and the ship have a wee bit of upgrade and preventive maintenance performed on the now solar powered coffee dispensing system.

She is awaiting the arrival of highlandtide and the rabble from around the world to our fair city.
