The Hooper Strait lighthouse is a favorite among young folks. They even have over-night stays here during the summer

This was a type of oyster dredger called a Yankee skiff. They were used in large fleets in the upper bay and was back-breaking work to use the 13 foot tongs

This is the Life ring from the last steam-powered tug boat on the chesapeake. Her last Captain had her till the day he retired putting an alleged million miles and 60 years with her... His name? Captain Claybon Morgan... My Great Grandfather
As we leave the museum and see one of the old lift bridges that the museum preserves I say Thank you for the visit and Bon Voyage
so cool! i was born in maryland, and went to visit my grandparents there over the summer a couple of years ago. went crabbing and fishing in the Chesapeake and had a great time

I am going to slowly start putting a collarge of pics together from its adventures from the very start .. the first person to recieve it was Jock. Its been to quite a few members since and still got loads to go.
Looking forward again now to seeing where in the xmarks vortex its going to reappear again.
By the way .. for any Dr Who fans I was told over the weekend there were lots of cybernaughts n darleks etc floating around down the town promoting the new Dr Who Experience which is due to open anytime now I think.
