Hmmmm...I thought I had posted some pics of the Essex now that I've gotten it home, but I guess not. Oh well, here goes...
As it was back in 1979:

It's been sitting for 20 years in storage...

Outside for the first time since 1988...

Arriving at it's new home...

Parked in my garage...

Nice 70's period hotrod interior, LOL...

I'm not planning to change much on the car, just get it running again and drive the wheels off it.

That is one very very nice looking vehicle. You must be very proud!

Here's my '82 Mustang. It's a prototype commissioned by Ford to introduce the '83 production model. It's a fun ride.

My last motorbike: a BMW 1150 Rockster I sold in 2006 because I cannot dirve anymore for a lot of problems with my hips bones...
... I loved it... sigh!

Seeing as we are talking BMWs, sidecars and OZ:
is what I've got now.
Marie on our earlier sidecar:

There was a 16valve K100RS oufit in there between than and now too. Bad habit for me these things.

Wow, another kilted Ozzie BMW sidecar pilot! I thought I was the only one!
(There can only be one! )
Nice HRD, probably more suited to the K than my Premier. My wife and I have been addicted to sidecars for decades! (My wife used to ride a Guzzi 850T with Westcar sidecar.)
Hey Al, great to hear from you! My daughter is visiting her aunt in Blackheath in the Blue Mountains right now (she's flying back to Melbourne tomorrow). Small world huh?

Don't be jealous, but my rides are all classics from around the world.

Although, sometimes, I take the faster cars through the bat tunnel (Metro subway).
I sold my car. I used it so rarely that it no longer made financial sense. I just rent one when I need to go outside the city.
