What a wonderful kilt! I like it even better than the other "No.100".
I wish you much joy in wearing it!

Thank you, Matt.
Howie has been advocating tweed for kilts almost since his business went live in 1999 - my first tweed kilt suit from him was tailored in 2000. Since opening his own premises last year in Thistle Street, Edinburgh, Howie has been promoting tweeds from many sources in quite a big way, and indeed most successfully.
Rightly or wrongly, I have always looked upon TFCK kilts as 'contemporary'. Howie himself describes them as "traditional with a contemporary twist" which is, I guess, a more accurate description. However, his kilts are mainly 'hipster' in style, have no reverse pleat, on average are 6yds rather than the, what is considered 'traditional', 8yds and come with many pocket options.
Whatever the correct descriptions might be, I am thrilled to have these two marvellous kilts equally holding the No.100 place in my Kilt Kollection inventory.
Take care,
Ham.

Everything seems to "just go" together. Good to see the smile gracing XMTS again.

That embroidery was a stroke of genius and sets off what is certainly an exceptional kilt for the kollection.
Stay well!!

That is an outstanding kilt! I especially like the 100 PHB - lovely on that pleat.
