Just one point the "red Police box" is the ordinary public telephone box designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Police boxes were blue and looked like Dr Who's Tardis.
You are of course correct, I have not had much sleep and so will blame the error on the fact that I am a Dr. Who fan.
