Dangit Jimmy! You've gotten me again! All of your talk of cheap traditionals is killing me. I just sent of an inquiry for what they had in my size, and I'm worried that they'll have something I "need"!
Seriously though, thanks for the link Jimmy and Chris!

Just a note to follow up: It's been 24 hours, and no reply to my call about available stock. Oh, well.

Just snagged a "Flower of Scotland" kilt. This thing is EASILY the second best kilt that I own. At the exhorbitant cost of $225, I'll like it even MORE. For a kilt made by an educated, certified, honest and talented kiltmaker, it's unheard of! The material is 16 ounce, and NOT hot at all... even under the lights. There's times that I feel like french fries on the salt tray up there! It cracks me up when I hear guys say that the heavy wool is just too hot. Common sense can take care of that, in the name of a quality material kilt.
They also have a solid green kilt that REALLY wants to come home with me. I feel it's my duty to honor the request.
After all the talk about "tanks"... here's a great opportunity to get a REAL one for the price of many lesser products.

I too am waiting for a reply. I contacted via email, but I suppose they are quite busy this time of year.

I'm still waiting also. No response to emails and no return phone calls.

They are being absolutely HAMMERED. The Christmas / New Year's / St. Andrew's Society / AOH / Robbie Burns Night / Pipe Band / regular business flow is VERY HEAVY. I will, however, head into the shop to get some responses triggered.
Unlike some businesses, this is NOT young people with extensive computer skills. These are kiltmakers and bagpipe makers that have a store. The quality that they lack in phone and email responses is MORE than made-up for in craftsmanship and quality of product. Let's see if I can't help them... and you.

By saying that they haven't replied, I am in NO WAY trying to cast aspersions.
I can understand their lack of an email reply. I really expected it this time of year. Even here at work (USDA-ARS) there is very little to do because most of the support staff is off on vacation. I would phone, but we can't do personal long distance calls from the office.
I am sure with the new year things will pick up. Besides, this gives some of us time to save up for more than one.
At these prices, a little patience is more than worth it.
BTW Jimmy, I am a 38-41-24
