<chuckle> I have found myself doing just that on the days I happen to find myself in pants. A real funny thing happened the other day when I found it so cold outside I ran back in to change out of my UK into jeans to go to work. I had to climb a ladder to get to an air line to repair a hose. Knowing I put on my workmans that morning, I tried like heck to find the modesty snaps. Once I realized I had on jeans, I just couldn't stop laughing.

I'm so used to wearing kilts most of the time that when I find myself in pants it's like a shock to the system.

The only time that I really "dislike" wearing a kilt is: a tank in the car. Just plain uncomfortable. Having said that, there are not to many other times that the kilt is bothersome.

Canadian winters and walks in the mosquito and black fly infested Canadian bush to call for pants (boots, gloves, parkas ......)

It's really nice, though, to have the choice. And, with 6 kilts, of varying fabric and design, in the closet, the most difficult thing, at times, is making a decision.

I've found that people are so use to seeing me in a kilt that if I put on trousers it's like i'm in some kind of stealth mode Completely unnoticed. 8)

...but sitting bare-assed on my friends furniture didn't seem like a great alternative...
I think being bare-assed on my friends furniture is one of the top ten reasons I wear my kilt. I love to make my mark!

...kidding...but I love that quote by philibeg.
