Is there really that much red in the Hunter tarten? The sample on Bears site makes it look so much darker. I know the color is distorted depending on your monitor but the shots from the fashion show really bring out the colors if I'm looking at the right one.

This pictures shows Sten Rune in his Hunter Tartan from Bear. It's an 8 yard trad cut

    Apples to apples

I added a pic to my gallery of the 3 pics I've been comparing. Could someone just confirm I'm apples to apples.

Looked like an aweful amount of fun. That has to be illegal in a few countries! LOL wish I could have been there, of course those poor women would have been passing out from shock and awe...With great power comes great responsibility.

Looks about right to me The swatch picture and Sten Runes kilt are the same thing.

The other, the picture lacks contrast so it looks a little faded. But still I think it's missing some blue. I'm not too sure. Maybe you can PM Bear

You know Bear, as much as I love my job and time I spend at sea, I really do hate missing a good time back home. I am so sad that I missed this one. I will make sure to make it up at the next kilt night and the August Gathering. I think I made up a bit for it already at the April Kilt Night, I think you know what I am talking about
Anyway, sorry I missed it Brother! Cheers!

I remember getting those Scottish guys to come in, (one in a kilt), meeting the Seaforth Highlanders, and which kilted guys were there, but things got a little foggy towards the shank of the evening.
I think I must have missed something, too?

Well it was a great evening then wasn't it? I won't go into to much detail about it all because I am pretty foggy about what all happened as well. But I am amazed that you don't remember that one tall, dark haired girl that was biting at my face while trying to get up my Kilt. It took every bit of energy I had to fight her off. Not the physical type of energy, but the mental. Man I was having a good night!
Anyway I will leave it at that then. But there was a lot more than just that.
