awoodfellow: Thats the perfect use for a Sportkilt, and I've seen a lot of Heavy Athletes wearing a SK at the Games out here. Competing is another thing I'd love to try myself, but just dont have anywhere near the time...
Kiltwilter: Keg tossing is an event in some of the Strongman competitions, a sport that happens to be very well represented by Scotsmen (but not so well as by the Nordic types)

When I had my health I liked throwing heavy objects. I once tossed a Honda 80 dirtbike at somebody because they caused me a great deal of irritation. I have thrown kegs. I once picked up and threw a couch because I was quite irate at said sofa. One Christmas in a fit of drunken rage, my loathing of the holidays boiled over and I threw the Christmas tree out the front door and on to the common lawn in the apartments that I used to live in. Heck, I was crippled when I did that... But I did it. Oh, and a long time ago, I liked playing Upsy Daisy with a friend's chocolate lab. Toss the dog in the air and catch her. She loved to play. When she would see me, she would come running and jump up into my arms. She was a one hundred pound moose. Her name was Her She (Bad play on words, chocolate lab, and a girl.)
There is some sort of strange satisfaction in throwing something that God never intended to be thrown. I never even put much effort into it when I did it. I would just casually hurl something.
I miss being able to do that.
